Terms of service

Effective May 5, 2026.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern relations between Main.llc, publisher of the website certifeurope.com (hereinafter "Certif Europe") and any person (hereinafter "the Customer") subscribing to a service for obtaining and using a qualified electronic signature certificate for filings on the INPI single window or any equivalent administration.

2. Publisher identification

Main.llc, 2, boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, contact: support@certifeurope.com.

3. Service description

The service consists of:

Certif Europe is not itself a QTSP. It acts as a commercial intermediary.

4. Pricing & payment

The price for a one-off signature is €30 excl. VAT (i.e. €36 incl. VAT, French VAT 20% applicable). Payment is due at order, by credit/debit card or electronic wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) via a secure payment platform (PCI DSS Level 1).

5. Certificate issuance, timing

The certificate is issued within an indicative timeframe of less than 10 minutes from validation of the Customer's identity, subject to proper functioning of the partner QTSP platforms and availability of Customer ID documents.

6. Identity verification

The Customer commits to providing accurate information and a valid ID document: national ID card or passport issued by an EU member state, or valid French residence permit. Verification is performed automatically by the partner QTSP in compliance with eIDAS requirements and Article R123-5 of the French Commercial Code.

7. "Satisfied or refunded" guarantee

Certif Europe offers a "satisfied or refunded within 28 days" guarantee. If the service does not satisfy you, you may request a full refund of your order within 28 days of purchase by writing to support@certifeurope.com. The refund is processed within 14 days on the original payment method.

This guarantee covers, in particular, the case where the INPI single window rejects your filing due to a defect attributable to the electronic signature provided: a full refund is then guaranteed upon presentation of the INPI rejection notice. Certif Europe may, at the Customer's choice, issue a free re-emission instead of a refund.

No refund is due once the issued certificate has already been used for a filing accepted by the INPI single window, the service having then been fully performed.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal. However, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 13° of the same Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose execution has begun with the Customer's express prior consent. The Customer expressly waives the right of withdrawal from the moment certificate issuance starts, except for the "satisfied or refunded" guarantee under Article 7.

9. Liability

Certif Europe implements the necessary means for proper service execution but is bound only by an obligation of means. Certif Europe cannot be held liable for: (a) INPI filing rejection for reasons unrelated to the electronic signature (file format, document completeness, act compliance); (b) temporary unavailability of partner QTSP services or the INPI single window platform; (c) certificate use not compliant with these Terms.

10. Personal data

Customer personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the privacy policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Disputes & applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, after attempting amicable resolution, competent courts are: for professional Customers, the competent French courts; for consumer Customers, courts of their place of residence in the EU, in accordance with Brussels I bis Regulation.
